Hi everyone! So happy to see you today. I actually have two cards to share for Freshly Made Sketches. The same card made two different ways. Our sketch hostess is the wonderful Jen Brum and she has such a clever layout for us this week.
I started with the new Citrus Bloom suite of products from Pinkfresh Studio. I stamped the images in Versamark then heat embossed with white embossing powder. Using my Daniel Smith watercolors, I just spent a bit of time coloring. When you stamp the flowers, it is all one stamp and so the die is the same. One cut, all the flowers done!
To keep with the sketch, I watercolored a background and then used a background die (retired) as a stencil of sorts for the texture. I added a sentiment and these pretty Matte Gold Pearls (Pinkfresh Studio) and some gold thread.
In a totally different yet totally the same version, I used the same elements. The flowers were “colored” using the coordinating stencils and Altenew inks. I used the same die except in the traditional way.
I used some patterned paper from Honey Bee Stamps in the background and some pretty sequins from Catherine Pooler instead of the pearls.
I hope you like both of these! The sketch is super flexible and I think you will have fun with it this week. Let me know which of these you like better! Thanks for stopping in.

Wow a twofer today! Gorgeous cards! Love the watercolor look – I will never ever achieve that soft sweet style! And the shades of yellow are so bright and pretty on your second card!
Gorgeous cards, Jennifer! One is so crisp and clean and one has a real artsy feel and both fabulous!
What a stunning watercolor job, Jen! I love this artistically stenciled background.
