Welcome back for Day 2 of January Release Week at Newton’s Nook Designs. Today we have a set that all of you with a sweet tooth are sure to love. And even if you don’t love candy, I know you will have a great time coloring these little treats from the darling set called Love & Chocolate! You can see more information over at the Newton’s Nook Designs blog!
Now I will warn you…do not even think about starting to work with this set on an empty stomach. I can tell you that the more I colored, the more I wanted chocolate! Although in fairness, I generally will be happy to have chocolate when I’m stamping (or any time)! I had such fun deciding what ‘flavors’ to make each little treat. A dark chocolate, a little milk chocolate, some white chocolate thrown in for good measure and then that lovely macaron! I have a list at the end of my supply list with the specific Copic Markers that I used. After getting all the treats colored it was quick work to cut out the images with the coordinating Love & Chocolate Dies. All I had to do was stack them on the little platter for presentation. I picked a sentiment from the set and stamped onto the DSP. In a nod to bakeries that have pretty doilies for their goodies, I added one under the platter and tied on some baker’s twine.
Would you like to win the “Love & Chocolate” Stamp Set?
This set will be given away to ONE lucky winner!

Jennifer,
I think your warning is spot on because just looking at the cards you designers have created is making me want chocolate! I really like this card, the fact that you used all the different types of candies, and adding the doily and twine is sooooo perfect for a bakery treat, that was genius! I am so inspired by what everyone is doing and I am getting sooo many ideas of ways to use this that I had not even thought of. It is my favorite set of the release and I love your take on it.
I LOVE this set!!!
Sweet chocolates obviously at a tea party. Lovely.
