Happy middle of the week to you! I am happy to be back with the latest challenge from Freshly Made Sketches. I am the sketch hostess this week and I hope you like this one. I designed it with a couple of things in mind. I thought the sketch would lend itself to using pretty designer papers for the background panels and the smaller rectangle left a perfect place for stamping. I know that you will find lots of ways to interpret it and I can’t wait to see the gallery!
The Tea for Two DSP was sitting on my table and calling my name so who was I to say no??!! I love the pretty prints in the pack!! What better than to pair it with Oh, Hello! I really do love this little flower and I inked up only part of the sentiment to fit across the bottom of the panel. I had this new Natural 7/16″ Trim Ribbon that had not been used yet (the horror!) and I thought it would be a nice compliment to the Natural Ivory paper in the background. It is a pretty ribbon to use and I think I have some more ideas for it. I tied it up with some Linen Thread and a Night of Navy button. The background card stock is Midnight Muse but the button seems to work.
I hope you enjoy working with the sketch this week. The design team has created some spectacular creations and I’m completely in awe of them! Make sure you go check them out and then show us your creation!
Thanks so much for stopping in today. For those who haven’t been here since last week, I did a bit of a redesign of my blog (more info in last Sunday’s post). Let me know what you think! See you again soon…have a great rest of your week!
