You know when you see a sketch and know right away what you want to do?!  That is exactly what happened to me for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge!  Narelle always has a knack for layering and this sketch shows why!  You can have such fun with how to build you layers!

I knew right away that I wanted to use a butterfly instead of the rectangle (just popped in my head so I went with it) but which butterfly?  I realized that I had not used this one from the hostess set Floral Wings and I really think it is so pretty!  I stamped it in Pool Party and layered on Calypso Coral flowers with Pear Pizzazz leaves.   It is cut out with the Bold Butterflies framelits.  Now for the layers.  I thought a little banner would be fun on top but that I should maybe to a stamped layer under the butterfly.  I pulled the vine image form the set and stamped it across some Thick Whisper White card stock in the same colors.  I took a little bit of latitude with the sketch but I like the result.  The sentiment is from the same set.  Once I had everything ready to assemble, I cut the image panel with my Stitched Rectangles dies.
