Happy Wednesday to you and happy May!! Wow, where did April go??!! Here today with the latest Freshly Made Sketches challenge. Our sketch this week is from the fabulous Linda Suarez. Great isn’t it??!!
I just knew I wanted to play with the Epic Day DSP some more. Not sure what it is about this paper but I’m smitten! These prints are really fantastic to use and I pulled out some card stock that I’m pretty sure I’ve never used…Gumball Green. I know, I know. It really is a great green but somehow it has been neglected. Apparently this DSP will fix that for me! I really wanted the paper to do the work since the sketch seems to lean that way but what to do with the sentiment? I pulled out the My Paper Pumpkin Try It Kit and used part of one of the stamps! Love it! I thought a little butterfly would be a nice addition so I used another one of the cool patterns from the DSP.
You are going to love the variety of cards from the design team this week. I’m all ready for some “pinning”! Make sure you go tell Linda how much you enjoy the sketch and I can’t wait to see the gallery this week!
Not sure when I will be back next. My leave from United Airlines is over and I am officially back to work today. Not only that, but I have been working on some really amazing stuff that I can’t share quite yet. It is so hard not to show you but when I can, you’ll have more posts than you know what to do with!! Hoping to have some time over the next couple of days just to stamp for me (and have something to share). Until next time, I really appreciate you stopping by and thank you for all the encouraging words you so kindly leave! Have a great week!

Love it…..great sketch and fun springy colors!
That paper is pretty fantastic DSP! I love how sometimes paper makes us use colors that we neglect otherwise! And what a sweet butterfly!
Fantastic card! I love the butterfly with the button detail.
I love the paper and the accent piece. Very inspiring!
Cute card, Jennifer! I love that dsp too. Gumball Green has taken a while to grow on me, but now I seem to use it as my “go-to” green a lot. I think it’s a great summery green.
Beautiful! That background is gorgeous and GGreen is perfect! Happy flying again 🙂
Beautiful card Jennifer! Love the DSP and the pretty butterfly! Perfect choice for the sketch!
I love your card! I think Gumball Green has to be one of my all-time favourite colours! I’m in love with that DSP too! I think I have too much love for DSP at times!!! Love the butterfly!!! Happy Flying! Can’t wait to see your top secret projects!!!
Oh my gosh, Jennifer. These colors/papers are fabulous. Your card is gorgeous, and now I’m smitten with the DSP, too!
Well, when you pull out the Gumball Green you sure make it look fabulous! You should definitely use it more if you make cards like this. 😉 Have fun flying!!
Jennifer this is soooooo beautiful – I love the softness to this DSP, so serene!
Great card, I can see why you love the papers. I seem to be hoarding Gumball Green paper as well. I had to have it when it first came out…fairly certain I have yet to cut into it! Love the button detail on your butterfly!
Wow Jen love what you did with this sketch. You really made the Gumball Green look great! lol Beautiful card as always! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog too!
