Flag Day Giveaway

Flag Day Giveaway published on 38 Comments on Flag Day Giveaway

Happy Flag Day!!  To celebrate this day, I have joined with other hosts to give away free items!  There is no catch…we are just happy to celebrate!  Don’t forget to visit all the other Flag Day Giveaway participants because there is sure to be some fun stuff.

Sticking with the flag theme, I thought I’d give away some “patriotic” items.  So I found a collection of retired designer papers where the primary color is Real Red.  Of course, there are lovely designs on the back too!  Additionally, I included some of the retiring 1/8″ Narrow Taffeta in Night of Navy and 3/8″ White Taffeta Ribbon (about 2 yards of each).  Finally, you can earn a bonus package of assorted brads and buttons (including some Glimmer Brads).  Keep reading for details.

Stampin’ on the Fly Flag Day Giveaway Rules:

1.  Make a comment on this post telling me your favorite crafting accessory.

2.  To win the bonus brads/buttons pack, tell me what your favorite project is on my blog from April, May and June (don’t worry, I only post about twice a week) and why it is your favorite.

3.  Winners will be selected by Random.org from the order in which you comment (if you are a follower, you’ll need to click into the actual blog to comment).  I will close the contest at 12 noon Eastern time on Friday, Jun 17th so that I can mail your package out as soon as possible.  Sorry but I can mail to U.S. addresses only.

Here is a look at the papers available.  They are 5 3/4″ x 6″, three of each style.

I’d like to invite you back for a Stampin’ Addicts Retiring Sets Mega Hop starting at 10a EST on Friday, June 17th.  Hope you’ll join us as we bid a fond farewell to Stampin’ Up’s “Last Chance” stamps!

What a wonderful giveaway! My current favorite crafting accessory (right now anyways) is ribbon ribbon and more ribbon!!! I love brads and buttons but find that ribbon always adds just the right amount of sparkle to my projects. My favorite post was the “Just Because” post you posted in May featuring the card using greenhouse gala dsp. I Love that DSP!!! 🙂

Thanks again for the chance to win!!

Big Shot is my favorite Stampin’ Up accessory. But my all-time favorite accessory is really the Scor-Pal. I wish Stampin’ Up had one of these, especially with an envelope/angled attachment for making 45 degree & 30 degree angles. I’m always scoring and folding something!

Thanks for sharing. My favorite accessories are my punches. I love to be able to add depth and dimension by popping things up but not so crazy about lots of cutting. You have some great projects and it was really hard to pick my favorite but I finally decided on “Stylish Butterflies” from April 12. I really like butterflies and the Big Shot die makes them so easy. 🙂 And, I’ve always loved the look of brown and blue together.

What a fun giveaway. Thanks for a chance.
My favorite crafting accessory right now is my Big Shot. I just love to add embossing to my cards/projects.
I love the card you shared on May 30. I love the soft colors, the clean and simple layout and the flowers.

What a sweet giveaway – loves these papers and ribbons. Some really great projects you have in these last three months but Wisteria Wonderful has to be my favorite. In fact, that color is my new favorite 🙂 I love purple anyway but that color is just perfect. You said you were not fond of purple, but i love what you did with those note cards – simple and classic and just beautiful! Thanks so much for the chance to win and I will definitely be back for the blog hop.

Oh wow – it’s hard to choose one favorite crafting accessory. Can designer paper be considered an accessory? I tend to use it really often on my cards. If that doesn’t count, then ribbon would be my favorite. I love that it comes in so many different colors and styles.

I totally love the rose/brown/vanilla color combination on your Rose Butterfly card. The scrunchy ribbon looks fabulous!

Love visiting your blog! My favorite accessory lately has been my punches. Any other time I would have to say brads or ribbon most likely.

My favorite project, it was hard, but I really loved the colors and whole card from the color lab 5/26 post! That ribbon and punched border with pearls just really nailed it for me. The flower, though interesting, isn’t my favorite but overall that is my favorite card/project.

Thanks for a chance to win – I love that paper!

My favorite accessory is ribbon because it just seems to add so much to even a simple card. I almost said my Big Shot, but I consider it a tool (a necessary one!). My favorite project from April was the butterfly you did on the 12th. It is beautifully done and I love the Baja Breeze elegance and softness. My favorite from May was a toss up between the butterfly card done on the 10th in Rose Red and the silhouette flower done for the Color Lab challenge on the 12th. Both were picked because of the color choices you used. I rarely use Not Quite Navy, but your design was perfect to showcase it. My favorite post from June was the 14th wedding card. I liked it for its stunning beauty and its soft, vintage look. Loved the ribbon treatment on it, too!

Thanks for the chance to win! Love your dsp and ribbons you are being generous with here. My favorite accessory is ribbon…and my Big Shot. Sorry, couldn’t pick just one. Ribbons are like icing on a cake and the embossing folders just add so much flare to our cards that I really love both. But then again, buttons and brads are fun too. I love it all!

Oh I love your website. I just discovered it and now will be looking at it often. Thanks for having this give away. My favorite accessory is my paper cutter- I know it is super basic but I can’t imagine cutting my paper by hand ever again. People say “I can’t draw a straight line, well I can’t cut a straight one either. I love using the scoring blade on it too.
My favorite post of those three months is the one from May 12-Color Lab 40. It is so simple but elegant. Plus, I have all the ingredients so I can reproduce it. I love doing a CASE. TFS

My favorite accessory right now is ribbon. I seem to be buying more than I’m using…but that’s only because I think it’s soo pretty and don’t want to use it…just yet. My favorite project is the cards your son’s did on May 8th. They paid a great deal to detail which I think is awesome!! I’ve always wondered how easy the jig would be to use… 🙂

If punches count as accessories that is my favorite as I seem to use one on almost every project. Next up would be ribbon. I would love to add your offering to my supplies. I like the Stylish Butterfly card from April. I have saved it for my Mom’s birthday card. Thankss for the chance to win your giveaway.

Thank you for a chance to win.
My favorite accessory changes with each project but I do like ribbon.
The post that I liked the best was the one with the Beveled Windowpanes. The first communion card was the second choice. Nice things! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for a chance to win. My favorite accessory is the score pal. Never have been able to draw a straight line. Favorite card is your criss cross blossom in April . Love using melon mambo, daffodil delight and pacific point color combo.

What fun! You can never get enough patriotic or holiday stuff. Hmmm, fav project would have to be your red, white, blue father’s day card. Guy cards are so hard to do sometimes…feel like you can’t do too much embellishing and yet not have it look girly, right? Thanks for the great idea!
