Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was wonderful. Today I’m sharing another of the cards I created while at Stamping Away. One of the fun parts of stamping at this event is the ability to use all kinds of products that I don’t own (yet…). I shared my Freshly Made Sketches card last week made with a set from The Greetery and today I’m sharing another made with the same set.
I love how forgiving the layering is on these images and the loose “sketch” lines are easy to use too. This is the Summer Sketches set and the sentiment is from the brand new Sketchbook Roses set. I found it is easiest to use the coordinating die and cut first. Then, using my Misti, I simply aligned the images into the negative, placed the positive in and stamped. Perfect! There is an easy stamping guide in the stamp sets too so it is super clear how to create the layers. I used Altenew inks for these flowers. The blues are Misty Morning and Nimbus. The green is Frayed Leaf ad the black is Altenew’s Jet Black. I know you are probably in love with that border die as much as I am. Isn’t it pretty?! It is also from The Greetery and it is called Nordic Frames. Sorry, not sorry for the enabling! *smile*
Well, that is all for today. Thanks to those of you who took advantage of my de-stash sale! I’m continuing my clean out this week and working on inks. Oh my! Hope you have a good start to your week! See you soon.
