Happy Valentine’s Day! Today I’m sharing a card made with another of the gorgeous sets from The Greetery. You know by now that I love the look of watercoloring. But let’s face it, sometimes there just isn’t time for coloring…the horror! This set gives you a similar style with just layered stamping. Fabulous!
I had not used The Greetery’s layered images before I went to Stamping Away but I knew I’d have a chance to try them there. I doubted whether the layering was as easy to achieve as it appeared. So the short answer…YES! It is! Based on advice from the gals there, I die cut first and then stamped onto the cut image using my Misti. The instructions on in the set are super clear and easy to follow. I chose some color families in the Altenew Ink lines which worked beautifully (I have them linked below). I was totally in love with this flower spray and then needed to create a card to showcase it.
I was sitting next to the very talented Alyssa Scritchfield and she created this card. I loved the stencil she used so pretty much grabbed it right away from her when she was done. It was the perfect background for my flowers. The sentiment is from the same set as the flowers. That script is gorgeous, don’t you think?! I thought a few little Sparkling Clear sequins were a nice touch to finish.
If you haven’t already seen it, The Greetery has a new release that went live today. And yes, I have just finished my shopping! Thanks so much for stopping in today. I hope you have a beautiful day!
