I’m up on the SugarPea Designs blog today playing with the Mix It Up Challenge #73 and I combined it with this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge. The sketch from Karren really opened up lots of options and I knew just what I wanted to do.
I thought the colors were perfect for a little fall wreath so I created one using the lovely elements from the SugarCut – Open Book dies. A bit of twine created the wreath.
To make the sketch panel feature, I used the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil and sponged on Tuxedo Black Momento Ink. The sentiment comes from the Beautiful Books Stamp Set.
Thanks for stopping in today. I hope you’ll join me for both of these fun challenges. Have a wonderful day!
I love the sweet simplicity of this card! Beautiful fall colors on that adorable wreath and the black is a striking accent!
I love your card! So beautiful and artsy!
Really classy looking card. I like the dies you used and your color scheme.
Wow! This card is so elegant and beautiful Jen! I just love how you’ve created that wreath from twine! Amazing! The flowers and the colours are so pretty! Love that cute little sentiment too!
Simple yet so effective Jen – I love the twisted twine wreath and curve of the border. A great CAS fall card!
I love your use of the neutrals with just a pop of color. Such a pretty design with the sponged edge and the twine wreath!
