Happy Wednesday!!  Boy do we have a treat for you today over at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our amazing Guest Designer for August, Kim Singdahlsen, is the sketch hostess.  Can you believe this is the first sketch she has created?  Yeah, me neither.  It is fabulous!  I have really enjoyed all her work this month and this is the icing on the cake.

 

I kept my card super clean this week with the focus on the new stamp set  For All Things.  I think this set is beautiful and I see so many ways to use it.  My colors for this are Soft Suede (stamped off), Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Early Espresso.  Other than cutting out the leaf, this card is pretty straight-forward.  I added on a new Gold Basic Metal Button tied with Linen Thread for a little extra and stamped everything on Naturals Ivory Card Stock.  I love the little flecks in that paper that help to fill the white space a bit.

The design team has so many fantastic interpretations of this sketch and I know it will be wildly popular this week because of the possibilities!  I hope you can join in on the fun!  Don’t forget to drop by and say hi to Kim too!

I have been working on my projects for my Stamps on the Fly but I will have a new card ready for you Friday.  The first Fancy Friday hop….a new monthly hop with my 2013 Artisan Design Team friends.  We miss hopping together so this will be fun!  First up….a color challenge for us (and you can join in too)!  Until then, I hope your week is amazing!
