It is that time of the Stampin’ Up year…time to use up the retiring items and make way for new things!! I just got my new catalog yesterday and I am here to tell you there are LOTS of fabulous new things!!!
I needed a bunch of thank you notes for my son’s birthday and it was the perfect time to use up some old DSP. I pulled out the Jolly Holiday DSP and chose two different Cherry Cobbler designs. Hard to pick which I like best. The little airplane is from an old retired set called Toy Box and I still love it for cards like this! My sketch is based on the Stampin’ 411 SSC206 although I did leave out the sentiment part (and turned it into a square).
I am working busily since this is the last week of school for my boys. So many projects, so little time!! I hope your week is going well too. I’ll be back Thursday with a new ColorLab Challenge and later in the week with teacher gift card sets. See you soon!
Stamp: Toy Box (retired); Paper: Jolly Holiday DSP, Naturals Ivory, Early Espresso; Ink: Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler; Accessories: Regals Buttons, Baker’s Twine (colored), Dimensionals, Blender Pen
All products are Stampin’ Up!

I also loved the DSP Jolly Holiday and have a teensy bit left – you’re so right that it works for lots of happy occassions
How fun! The colors are perfect for a kids thank-you!
Great cards! Love that airplane. It reminds me I need to make some thank you notes too!
That little airplane is just too cute! Love your coloring too 🙂
Such a cute card. And I love that you used a Christmas DSP Christmas in a non-holiday way. TFS
