I am so excited to be a part of this amazing group of Stampin’ Up demonstrators! If you haven’t heard of “The Crew” yet, you are going to be so thrilled with this. We are here to show you the versatility of one stamp set every time we hop (the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month). We have a whole team of people and different stampers participate each time. Like you, we look to find ways to maximize our investments and the single focus on one set allows you to see all the possibilities! This week, our featured stamp is Petite Petals. This set is just so sweet and the different styles of flowers are fun to use!
If you just came over from the wonderful Lisa Young, I’m so glad you are here! If you want to see everyone who is hopping or if you get lost along the way, just click over to The Stamp Review Crew blog.
I thought I’d combine this stamp set with some new things from the 2015-16 Stampin’ Up Catalog and wow am I glad I did. I chose the Greeting Thinlets for my sentiment and combined it with a stamp from And Many More. I think they work really nicely together! The ‘hello’ is popped up on small pieces of Dimensionals that I cut from the edges of my sheet of adhesive. I stamped the polka dot flower from Petite Petals in some of the Brights colors and punched them out with the Petite Petals Punch (the perfect coordinating tool for this set). I added Candy Dot centers on the flowers and layered them together. The flowers are attached with Glue Dots except for the Razzleberry flower which is attached with a Dimensional to give better layering. Now the biggest product wow that I need to talk about is one you can’t really see in this picture. We need to have a chat about the new Thick White Whisper White Card Stock. That is what I used here and I’m going to yell it from the rafters…..I’M IN LOVE WITH THIS PAPER!!!!! All the yummy goodness of Whisper White in a thicker texture. It holds up well to this kind of layering and with no bending. I cut it with the fun angle to give a modern feel and put it up on some Dimensionals too. This will be my new go-to card stock. Good thing I already ordered two packs!!
I hope you like today’s card. Like you, I can’t wait to see all that the others have for inspiration! Hop on over to Shana Gaff to continue on your way around. So glad you dropped in today. See you again soon!

Love the punch of the bold black! The slightly askew panel is a favorite of mine! Sweet flowers too! Sweet card!
So modern and fun! Love the greeting die…waiting for mine…and those bright blooms.
Love the jaunty angle! I always admire your ability to create simple cards with beautiful composition.
Great card Jennifer! Love the bold colours you’ve used. Those flowers just pop off the page. They contrast so well with the black!
Very modern and just beautiful. I love how you set it at an angle too. I am in love with the new white paper too!!! I like the color combo too!
What a great card! I love the bright colors with the black and the fun angle of your white layer.
Clean, bright, and beautiful! We were thinking alike on the thinlits. 🙂
Love the layout and bold color scheme of your card. What a great way to use this set! (This is definitely going in my “must CASE” file!) TFS
LOVE the asymmetric white panel, the die cut hello, the addition of the sentiment from And Many More, and the brightly colored flowers with matching candy dot centers! Ok, I guess that means I love it ALL 🙂
The perfect example of CAS! Beautiful!
I save just every scrap I can Now I know why. I wondered how you got your Hello to stick to your card. Now I know. I couldn’t post to some of the people who are on the blog tour but wanted let you know I like just everyone’s card or projects.
Love the modern layout, colour combo and use of the new products! Why have I not cracked open the new WW card stock yet?
I love the bright colors that you chose. They look fabulous with the contrast of black and white. Love the tip on using dimensionals for the greeting thinlits.
