Just a quick post to wish a happy Independence Day to all of my US readers! I hope that wherever you are celebrating, you have a fun and safe holiday! I know that some of you have been seeing nature’s fireworks over the last few days (I’m in Newark unplanned right now because of some of those!) but I hope that you get to enjoy the brightly colored ones too!
A quick share on a project I made with June’s Paper Pumpkin kit. I held a Paper Pumpkin Fun Night for my local subscribers and we worked together to make the cute little pinwheels. As we were creating, we discussed fun ways to use them. I pulled out this wreath that was already wrapped with burlap ribbon and started placing the pinwheels and thought it was coming together. My mom (who was in town visiting) suggested some red ribbon. So I added this stitched ribbon (retired). I thought a great party idea would be to attach the pinwheels to canning jars and use them for drinks/decorations.
What will the next Paper Pumpkin hold?? I can wait to see!! If you would like to try it out, you can become a monthly subscriber (see link in my sidebar) or you can try it for a prepaid period of time. Click the image below to check it out!
Ok….off to work I go. Maybe I’ll see you flying around the system this weekend! Keep an eye out for me! Hope your weekend is loaded with fun and maybe even some time for crafting! See you soon!
