I’m back for a second post for the day with a new Freshly Made Sketches layout. This awesome sketch is courtesy of Cindy Hall from Pretty Impact. Great one, don’t you think?
I decided to use the stamp set Moving Forward. This is the Ronald McDonald House Charities set for the year from Stampin’ Up and $3 of every set purchased goes straight to RMHC. WOW!! I love this blimp and inked it up as soon as I could on Monday morning. I will say that it probably needs to be sanded a little (I find that is always best for crisp images on stamps with large flat surfaces) but I was too excited to play with it. The sketch was flipped and I chose this Summer Smooches DSP print as my color inspiration. The blimp was colored using Stampin’ Write Markers in Island Indigo, Real Red and Daffodil Delight. A little White Baker’s Twine and a Real Red Button were perfect for the ribbon element and I added some Jewelry Tags that punched the words from the stamp.
This stamp was given to every demonstrator that was at Convention. Cool, huh? Please come back tomorrow to see some more information about this set and all it can do for families.
Until then, make sure you go see the design team’s fabulous cards! Hope your day is wonderful!

Ooooh..I hadn’t noticed this sweet little blimp!! Fab card…now I have to go check out this stamp set!
Hi Jen! That blimp is adorable! Love the bright colors and how you turned the sketch!
Another reason I should have gone to convention! Next year!!! Great card Jen! I love that little blimp! Love the colours!!!!
Your DSP and blimp are perfect together, cute card!
A fun stamp set to have and the support of a great cause sounds like a match made in heaven to me! I love these bright and cheery colors. Thanks for the reminder about sanding stamps. I used to do that on certain stamps but for some reason stopped (much to the detriment of some of my stamped images)!
Too stinkin’ cute, Jen! I haven’t had a chance to play with that set (or any other freebies we got at Convention), but will very soon. Thanks for the tip to rough up the stamp a bit first.
Miss you already!
What a cool card Jen … that blimp image is super and so are your colours!
I love your sweet card, Jen! And I’ve read your caring post and ordered the stamp set. What a wonderful thing to do.
Oh so cute, Jen! The bright and cheery colors will certainly brighten anyone’s day! Flipping the sketch works perfectly! It was great to meet you at Convention! I can’t wait for next year!
